Personal training to provide individualized workouts and group training limited to 10 participants to closely monitor everyone’s form and provide feedback with options for all levels.

So you can workout whenever you’d like, in our very private atmosphere, at home or when you travel. Your coach may even prescribe healthwork to be done on your non-training days based on your goals.
Client experience:
I began personal training with Scott in 2009 and just started losing weight. It was a good place, a personal gym where the people were great and it was a comfortable place to workout. The first thing I noticed was I felt like they knew what they were doing. I've been to other trainers before and they were typical like you can read Men's Fitness and that's what they were doing. Scott took a lot of time to teach me the exercises and it got me to the point where I started learning how to work out correctly to get the proper movements for each rep. So I've continued with them for years even though I'm 30 minutes away now. Over time I was able to lose 100 pounds while also gaining muscle because I added things on the outside as my fitness got better. I started bike riding and then paying attention to nutrition. It all started coming here and I've been here for quite a while now. When group training started I moved from the personal training and I really enjoy it because you're working out with other people and no one is trying to show up anybody. I think it's a great program and I encourage you to join and be part of the movement!

During the pandemic, working remotely in one room, and at the end of my 2 year online graduate program, my weight had crept up. I have always been a person to exercise; however, I wasn’t always consistent. I lead a pretty active lifestyle, but I desired an intentional exercise program where I could be held accountable. I relocated from Colorado to North Carolina in January 2021 and began seeing ads on Facebook for a 10-week challenge offered by Active Bodez. Entering the gym was scary at first, but I loved how every class and movement is customizable to your individual needs and fitness level. My original goal was to learn some routines during the 10-week challenge to be able to incorporate into my own program. However, I developed a routine by attending classes 3 days a week and enjoyed the comradery and most of all, the accountability! The accountability is a huge motivator for me personally. My gym mates, quickly turned into friends and 3 years later I am here 3 times a week, putting in the work. My strength, balance and endurance has drastically improved. Physical activity is now something that is a part of my everyday life. As I continue to grow older, I want to be able to be as active as I possibly can be. Mobility, strength and being in the best physical shape is my golden ticket! I joined Active Bodez two years ago and it's been a phenomenal experience. Alexius and Scott have been amazing trainers for me starting off around 300 pounds. I'm like 245 right now so the journey of weight loss plus strength development and confidence building. It's been fabulous being here with the family they have created and all team members kind of come together to help motivate each other. Classes they offer like boot camp, strength training, cycling helps incorporate all the little things you need to be fit. Also they help you with nutrition plans and just a healthy way of living your life. They also keep you on track in case you don't come in. For example I didn't show up for a whole week and got a text message "hey what happened to you are you okay?" and that really helps keep you on track and motivated. So overall it's been a phenomenal experience for me at Active Bodez!

Alexius and Scott are awesome. They are very accommodating, provide insight about the exercises and have a variety of really fun classes. The other members are so encouraging and make it worth your while to join and participate in the activities. They also challenge you to go harder every class and provide superb incentives. Alexius encourages you and her exercises are never the same so you don't get bored. She makes it fun, modifies the exercise if needed and her music is great!

(JoJo) I joined Active Bodez over 8 years ago and it changed my life. First and foremost, the trainers Scott and Alexius are the absolute best. They care so much about their clients' success. I love the small class size and look forward to seeing my Active Bodez friends. It is the most supportive group of people. I also find that having scheduled group training keeps me on track and motivated. This is the first gym that I have actually stuck with and am seeing results. Active Bodez has been my place to go for exercise since 2004. I had been exercising at another studio but not happy with the Personal Trainers. I wanted a Personal Trainer who made sure I was performing the exercises correctly so I did not have injuries and who challenged me to do more when he/she knew I could. This studio offers spin classes, group training, yoga, etc. your good health is their goal. And they are FUN! A sure sign of overall excellence, there have been no staff changes in all these years and there are many clients who have been working out there longer than me. Absolutely not! The length of your membership is based on your goals and where you’re at now. 12 and 24 month memberships are NOT client-centric and Active Bodez is all about our clients and their success!
We got you. We understand getting started is the hardest part. We’ll take it one step at a time. Step 1, come in for a “no sweat intro” and have a chat with us.
